The Vibe Episode 1 – Too Indecent (Slightly NSFW)

Kicking off the first episode of The Vibe is Harrisonburg’s very own Too Indecent. Known for a characteristically funky blend of hip-hop and rock, these guys bring fresh jams to crowds all across town. They’ve performed at SpaghettiFest, currently have an album on iTunes and Spotify and have helped pioneer a resurgence in the underground scene all across the area. After a successful year of throwing shows in the now iconic Brokedown Palace, they’ve grown both in sound and execution and now stand as one of the premiere rock groups around. They pride themselves on providing a good time to the people, all the while educating and informing them when they can. Their lyrics, when given a deep listen, provide a succulent punch and address themes pertinent to society, such as racism, income inequality and police brutality. Much like the genres they blend, their sound and lyrics develop into a fun ride worth getting down to and contemplating. Enjoy their vibe? Check out their Soundcloud below, and take a minute to check out one of their chief influences, Murphy’s Kids.
